Lee Brice at SLS Las Vegas? Yes, Please!

It’s a “Parking Lot Party” – Las Vegas style!

Diamond Celebrity ambassador and country music artist Lee Brice helped kickoff the Diamond Live summer concert series on Memorial Day with an exciting performance at The Foundry inside the SLS Las Vegas. Located on the famous Las Vegas Strip, The Foundry blends the acoustics and production values of an arena concert with the intimacy of a club atmosphere. So, the perfect space for Diamond Resorts™ to host its summer concerts in Las Vegas.

Brice kept about 200 Diamond Resorts members and special guests swaying and clapping through an hour-long set featuring past hits plus new music from his self-titled fourth album. He also made note of an event at the other end of The Strip, “We don’t mind if y’all check out the game (the Stanley Cup Finals opener featuring the Vegas Golden Knights); just let us know if the score changes.”  Brice’s often bluesy vocals ranged from lighthearted lyrics about young love, through the story of a father watching his son grow up, to the searing tale of life after a brother’s death in combat.

Brice has been a Diamond Celebrity ambassador since May 2017, and has performed intimate, acoustic shows exclusively for Diamond members at several of Diamond’s destinations across North America, including Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club in Orlando, Florida and Cabo Azul Resort in San José del Cabo, Mexico.

The evening began in unique fashion with Dee Jay Silver spinning an eclectic mix of country-fused-with-everything sounds. Silver, who has become a fixture at country music festivals and has residencies at three Las Vegas hotels, set the mood with energetic tunes that blended disparate acts like the legendary band, Alabama, with the rap quartet Nappy Roots, and rockers Third Eye Blind with Nashville favorites Big & Rich.

Brice then took the stage to a venue full of cheers, blending stories with songs. “I wrote a couple of these about two college girlfriends….but not at the same time.” The evening’s crescendo was the      foot-stomping “Parking Lot Party” as attendees surged to the stage for selfies while Brice mugged for cameras in the background. Anyone who missed a photo op got the chance after the show as Brice milled with the audience at the edge of the stage. As a postscript, the Golden Knights won their hockey game, #diamondmojo.

Diamond Celebrity ambassadors and country music stars Jana Kramer, Colt Ford and Sister Hazel are also expected to perform at The Foundry this summer as part of the exciting Diamond Live concert series. Members will have opportunities to see Lee Ann Womack, Lauren Alaina and other country music stars this summer in Orlando, Virginia Beach, and St. Louis, and other Diamond destinations.
